摘要

Abstract

The exposed strata of the newly built flood discharge tunnel of Luozhai Reservoir mainly consists of Qua-ternary residual slope accumulation soil layer and completely weathered~intensely weathered granite from the Hi-malayan period.The stability of the surrounding rock throughout the entire section of the tunnel is poor,and col-lapse is highly likely to occur during the construction process.For this project,small pipe sheds were first used to pre-support the area outside the tunnel excavation contour line;then arch top mortar anchor rods,steel mesh and C25 concrete spraying were adopted for reinforcement;finally,C30 reinforced concrete was used for the full cross-section lining.The strength of the surrounding rock had been significantly enhanced after pre-support.The small pipe shed can effectively prevent the collapse of surrounding rock at the initial stage of excavation,create favorable conditions and a relatively safe space for the excavation and initial support of the tunnel,and achieve good results.
