Abstract

This study investigated the effects of canopy microsprinkling on the characteristics of upper leaves in flue-cured tobacco to provide technical solutions for optimizing cultivation management and improving upper leaf quality.Using Yun-yan87 as the experimental material,different frequencies of deionized water spraying were applied after topping.Parameters including leaf traits,leaf tissue structure,nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium(N-P-K)content and accumulation,and physical properties of cured leaves were analyzed.The results showed that the frequency of water spraying significantly influenced leaf traits and tissue structure of upper leaves,promoting leaf growth and development,increasing leaf dry weight,and enhancing N-P-K nutrient content,thereby improving the physical quality of upper leaves.Among the treatments,CT1(spraying deion-ized water every 3 days after topping)demonstrated the most effective outcomes,significantly increasing palisade tissue thick-ness,leaf length,leaf area,and single-leaf weight,while optimizing physical properties.This approach contributes to enhanc-ing the quality and economic value of upper tobacco leaves.
