交泰丸对糖尿病脑病小鼠认知功能的影响
Effect of Jiao-tai-wan on cognitive function in mice with diabetic encephalopathy

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of Jiao-tai-wan(JTW)on cognitive function in mice with diabetic encephalopathy.Methods:The db/db mice were randomized into the model group,the high-,medium-,and low-dose groups of JTW,and the metformin group;the db/m mice were set as the blank group,given the drug by stomach gavage once a day for eight consecutive weeks.Water maze test was conducted to detect learning memory function;oral glucose tolerance test and insulin tolerance tests were conducted to detect changes in blood glucose and insulin sensitivity;brain tissue homogenate was prepared to detect the con-tent of MDA and the activity of SOD;and Nissl staining was applied to observe the morphology of neuronal cells in the hippocam-pal tissue area of the brain of the mice.Results:JTW could significantly shorten the swimming exploration distance and evasion la-tency of diabetic encephalopathy modeled mice,meanwhile,it could regulate the blood glucose level and improve the insulin sensi-tivity;it made the MDA content of mouse brain tissue decreased while SOD activity increased;it exerted an improving effect on the histomorphology of neurons in mouse hippocampal tissue.Conclusion:JTW may improve glucose metabolism,inhibit oxida-tive stress,and reduce hippocampal pathological changes in mice,thus enhancing learning and cognitive abilities of mice with dia-betic encephalopathy,and exerting certain efficacy in preventing and controlling diabetic encephalopathy.关键词
