Abstract

Three different warm mix agents were employed to prepare warm mix SBS modified asphalt.The short-term and long-term aging of asphalt were simulated by the Rotating Film Oven Test and Pressure Vessel Aging Test,respectively.Parameters such as the viscosity aging index,rutting factor,fatigue factor,and creep stiffness of the warm mix SBS modified asphalt before and after aging were tested and investigated.The results indicate that the addition of warm mix agents can significantly reduce the viscosity aging index of SBS modified asphalt.The Sasobit warm mix agent,due to the presence of wax,can enhance the high-temperature performance of SBS modified asphalt but has an adverse impact on the fatigue performance and low-temperature performance.The Evotherm warm mix agent can improve the low-temperature performance and fatigue performance of SBS modified asphalt while having no effect on the high-temperature performance.The GN warm mix agent has an adverse influence on the high-temperature rutting resistance of SBS modified asphalt but has a certain promoting effect on its fatigue performance and low-temperature performance.
