Research on Textile Composite Materials for UAV Leaf Springs Based on Resin Transfer Molding Process

Abstract
To enhance the mechanical properties of textile composite materials for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)leaf springs and reduce their mass,this study employs T800 carbon fiber as a substitute for traditional metallic materials.The carbon fiber is bonded with resin through interlayer crosslinking using the resin transfer molding(RTM)process,resulting in the preparation of three different structural textile composite materials for leaf springs:1/3 underlap 2.5D,conventional underlap 2.5D,and 1/3 twill 2.5D.To verify the mechanical properties of these three materials,tests were conducted from the perspectives of tensile strength,compressive strength,and bending strength.The experimental results indicate that the internal structure of the textile composite materials for leaf springs is closely related to their mechanical properties.Specifically,the binder yarn and underlap yarn can withstand significant compressive and tensile stresses,and combining the binder yarn with the underlap yarn can significantly improve the mechanical properties of the textile composite materials for leaf springs.关键词
