Research on the Application of Polymer Materials in Wooden Structures

Abstract
Polymer materials,due to their excellent physicochemical properties,are increasingly being applied in the field of wood structures.This article delves into the engineering applications of polymer materials in various areas such as wood-plastic composites,connectors and adhesives,structural reinforcement,fire-resistant coatings,and decorative materials.The research findings indicate that by combining polymer materials with wood in an organic manner,the mechanical properties,durability,and corrosion resistance of wood structures can be significantly enhanced.In humid and corrosive environments,polymer connectors and adhesives exhibit excellent stability,significantly reducing maintenance costs.When combined with fiber-reinforced composites(FRP)for structural reinforcement,the load-bearing capacity and durability of wood components are further enhanced.Polymer fire-resistant coatings,by forming a protective layer,improve the fire resistance of wood,effectively ensuring the safety of the structure.Finally,this article explores the future development direction of polymer materials in wood structures,emphasizing the importance of promoting smart materials,green and environmentally friendly materials,and innovating new composite materials for driving the sustainable development of the wood structure industry.These studies and applications not only provide new ideas for enhancing the performance of wood structures but also offer strong support for architectural design and material selection.关键词
