Abstract
As the core water source area of the Middle Route Scheme of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,Xichuan County has historically been prone to frequent mountain torrent disasters due to its terrain,rainfall patterns and population distribution.However,since 2010,Xichuan County has established a comprehensive mountain flood disaster prevention and control system in phases.This system primarily relies on non-structural measures and combines professional and community efforts.This paper aims to systematically review the initial construction achievements of the mountain flood disaster prevention system in Xichuan County,conduct an in-depth analysis of the existing shortcomings and challenges at present,and propose more targeted and feasible countermeasures based on this assessment.关键词
