Abstract
As an important flood control project on the main stream of the Huaihe River,the bank slope of Zhuo Temple on the south bank of Chushandian Reservoir is at risk of slope instability due to the periodic fluctuation of the reservoir water level and continuous rainwater scouring,which threatens the safety of the temple buildings.Based on the systematic engineering geological survey,hydrological characteristic analysis and targeted protection design,the multi-layer comprehensive protection system of"gabion mesh-geotextile-vegetation",combined with ecological restoration technology were proposed,which have effectively ensured the bank slope stability in the water level fluctuation zone.While ensuring the engineering safety,this system has significantly improved regional ecological benefits,which can provide an important reference for similar bank slope protection projects in water level fluctuation zones.关键词
