摘要

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the influence of the slime on graphite flotation,taking weath-ered flake graphite ore as the research object,the study includes analyzing the main slime composition in weathered graphite ore,discussing the effect of different slime on graphite flotation by using a mixed ore formed by graphite concentrate and main single mineral slime,and exploring the inhibitory effect of dif-ferent inhibitors on slime by using water glass,sodium hexametaphosphate,oxalic acid and sodium car-boxymethyl cellulose as inhibitors.The results show that mica,kaolinite and limonite slime have great in-fluences on graphite flotation.Adding an appropriate amount of inhibitor can effectively inhibit the slime,among which the water glass and sodium hexametaphosphate have better inhibition effects.The open cir-cuit experiment with water glass,sodium hexametaphosphate and combined inhibitor(water glass 400 g/t+sodium hexametaphosphate 300 g/t)as inhibitors proves that the roughing section is not suit-able for adding inhibitors.The inhibitors with strong inhibition should be added for the high gangue con-tent existing in the early stage of selection and in the later stage of the selection,the inhibitors with weak inhibitory effect should be added for the gradual decrease of the gangue amount.The inhibitory effect on gangue from the strong to the weak is sodium hexametaphosphate>combined inhibitor>water glass.
