Abstract

This paper aims to explore the dynamic evolution characteristics of stress in deep coal seams under mining influence.The study combining the field data,analyzes the stress,displacement dis-tribution and evolution characteristics during the mining process with numerical simulation methods in No.29 coal seam in Xinfa Coal Mine.The results show that the stress in deep coal seams presents non-u-niform distribution during the mining process.In the presence of the working face mined from 0 to 500 m,the stress peak at the front end of the working face decreases from 13.11 MPa to 11.98 MPa,and the stress peak at the rear end of the working face increases from 16.03 MPa to 37.19 MPa.The dis-tance from the stress peak at the front end of the working face to the goaf ranges from 5 m to 57 m.The range of the stress-concentrated area is positively correlated with the mining length and the expansion speed gradually increases.However,the stress peak at the front end of the working face is much smaller than that of the stress-concentrated area at the rear end of the goaf.When the mining length of the work-ing face is less than 250 m,the maximum displacement of 0.63 m in the stope is located in the siltstone area at the upper left of the stope.When the mining length of the working face is greater than 250 m,the maximum displacement of 1.20 m is near the roof at the mining position of the working face.
