Research Progress on Application of CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing System in Wheat Breeding
摘要
Abstract
Wheat is a crucial cereal crop,and the CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing system provides a powerful tool for wheat breeding.The principle of the CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing system was elaborated,its applications in enhancing wheat yield related traits,improving grain quality,increasing stress resistance(biotic and abiotic stresses),and accelerating the breeding process were reviewed,and the current challenges and future prospects were explored,providing a theoretical foundation for molecular breeding of wheat.关键词
