Regulation Effect of Exogenous Oxalic Acid at Different Concentrations on Nitrogen Uptake and Utilization in Peanut

Abstract
Root exudates can induce rhizosphere effects that drive microbial regulation of the soil nitrogen(N)cycle,thereby influencing crop nutrient uptake,utilization efficiency,and yield forma-tion.In a maize-peanut intercropping system,a significantly higher concentration of oxalic acid in root exudates compared to the mono cropped peanut system was observed by our research team.To inves-tigate the effects of oxalic acid on peanut growth and nitrogen uptake and utilization,the peanut culti-var Qinghua6 was used as the experimental material.Sterile water was applied as the control(CK),and three levels of oxalic acid application as 21.60 mg/pot(T1),43.20 mg/pot(T2),and 86.40 mg/pot(T3)were established as treatments.The study evaluated nitrogen availability in the rhizosphere soil,plant dry matter accumulation,and nitrogen uptake and utilization characteristics under each treatment.The results showed that,compared with CK,T1 treatment significantly increased rhizosphere soil total nitrogen content(17.15%)and underground plant nitrogen content(16.71%),but decreased shoot plant dry matter mass(8.97%).T2 treatment significantly increased dry matter accumulation(12.37%),ni-trogen content(21.01%),sum nitrogen accumulation(28.30%)and total nitrogen content in rhizosphere soil(45.11%),but decreased ammonium nitrogen content in rhizosphere soil(7.43%).However,T3 treatment significantly increased the total nitrogen content in rhizosphere soil(111.95%),ammonium nitrogen(15.88%),and total nitrogen content in underground plant(44.03%),but significantly reduced the dry matter accumulation in shoot of plant(11.94%).In conclusion,the addition of medium concentra-tion of exogenous oxalic acid(43.20 mg/pot,equal as 21.49 kg/ha)could optimize nitrogen absorption and utilization of peanut,which had positive effects on the growth and development of peanut.关键词
