Abstract

To select peanut germplasms suitable for large-scale promotion and planting in saline-al-kali land,the 35 peanut germplasms were planted in the saline alkali land and non-saline-alkali land during two consecutive growing years of 2022 and 2023,respectively.The growth and yield traits were measured at various growth stages of peanuts planted in both saline-alkali and non-saline-alkali soils.Methods such as cor-relation analysis,cluster analysis,principal component analysis,and membership function analysis were em-ployed to comprehensively evalutate the saline-alkali tolerance of peanuts and screen for saline-alkali tolerant peanut germplasms.The results indicated that the indicators of relative main stem height,relative branch number,relative lateral branch length,and relative kernel yield were more suitable for screening of saline-al-kali tolerant germplasms in the field.The varieties of Huayu9141,Huayu33,and Huayu910 exhibited excel-lent performance in single of these indicators,while these indicators of Huayu9115 changed significantly with variation of growing years.Through comprehensive analysis,among the 35 peanut germplasms,Huayu33,Huayu910,Huayu9121,P20-18,P18-80,P17-101,F19(150)-17-3-2,F19(150)-23-7-1,F19(150)-24-1-2,and F19(300)-49-10-3 were identified as highly saline-alkali tolerant or saline-alkali tolerant varieties.This study defined evaluation indicators for the identification of saline-alkali tolerant ability of peanuts,and screened saline-alkali tolerant peanut germplasm resources for the development and utilization of saline-alkali land.
