Abstract

Peanut seeds have high oil content and are prone to aging after storage,resulting in de-creased seed vigor and low field emergence rate.The construction of peanut seed aging resistance screening system has important theoretical value and practical significance for the cultivation of aging-resistant peanut varieties.23 peanut varieties(lines)were treated under conditions of artificial aging(seeds were stored at room temperature for 12 months)and artificial aging(temperature of 40℃,relative humidity of 85%-90%,storage time of 0,2,4,8 and 10 days),and the seed aging-resistant ability of the 23 varieties were compared by monitoring germination rate,germination potential,germination index(seed vigor index)and electrical conductivity of seeds under different aging treatments.This study established a screening system for peanut varieties resistant to aging based on multiple indicators,which can effectively utilize the fuzzy membership function method to conduct comprehensive analysis of multiple indicators.From 23 peanut varieties(lines),the resistant variety Nonghua 23(NH23)and the aging-sensitive variety Fuhua 18(FH18)were selected,which can provide excellent parental materials for future breeding.
