Fatigue assessment of the body welds of a certain maglev rail vehicle based on the DVS 1608 standard

Abstract
Taking the car body of a specific medium-low speed maglev track vehicle as an example.To determine the load-bearing capacity of its car body structure under the action of service loads,thereby guaranteeing its safety and reliability during the service life.Given the unique structure of maglev trains,fatigue load conditions are established in accordance with the actual operating circumstances and the EN 12663 standard.Result data is computed and extracted via finite element simulation.Subsequently,a fatigue assessment of the vehicle body welds is carried out by employing the procedures and methods delineated in the DVS 1608 standard.The calculation and analysis outcomes reveal that the stress utilization rate and the comprehensive utilization rate in all directions,obtained under all operating conditions,are less than 1.The area with a relatively high utilization rate is predominantly concentrated at the junction between the end 2 underframe profile and the underframe edge beam in the vicinity of the door area.The fatigue strength of the vehicle body weld satisfies the design requisites stipulated in the DVS 1608 standard under various calculation scenarios.关键词
