Abstract
TIG double-sided three-layer welding process tests were conducted on 5mm thick 2A14 aluminum alloy circular restrained welds.The weld composition was analyzed using EDS,and the weld zones were classified based on the compositional results.Fracture locations were observed,and stress simulations were performed on the welds.Residual stress testing was also carried out.Observations and tests revealed that,compared to traditional butt joints,high-restraint-stress multi-layer and multi-pass welding undergoes dual thermo-mechanical effects,with fractures occurring at the weld fusion line.Tensile test results of the welded joints showed reductions in both tensile strength and elongation;however,the fracture surfaces still exhibited characteristics of plastic fracture.关键词
