Abstract

For CPR1000 units operating under half-side condenser conditions,reactor power is conventionally regulated below 60%full power(FP).However,inherent contradictions exist between the minimum power plateau required for delta-Ⅰ axial flux difference control and the maximum permissible plateau ensuring condenser tube integrity.Adhering to the nuclear safety conservative decision-making principle,this study employs three evaluation models-status factor,load factor,and risk coeffi-cient-to assess operational risks during half-side condenser operation at a reference plant,subsequently proposing corres-ponding safety margin enhancements.Integrating empirical operating conditions,we developed an optimized power control strategy for half-side condenser scenarios with defined mitigation protocols for safety criterion deviations.Implementation assessments across Phase Ⅰ and Ⅱ units demonstrate that,electrical power regulation must dynamically accommodate circula-ting water temperature variations.When operational stability proves unattainable,controlled air admittance elevates condenser backpressure,thereby safeguarding cooling tube integrity.This methodology establishes an operational paradigm for congen-eric CPR1000 units conducting half-side condenser maneuvers.
