2型糖尿病伴牙周炎患者唾液微生物特征分析
Characteristics of salivary microbiome in type 2 diabetes-associated periodontitis

Abstract
Objective:To characterize the salivary microbial community characteristics in type 2 diabetes-associated periodontitis.Methods:Saliva samples were collected from 25 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and periodontitis(Group M),52 periodontitis(Group P),and 13 healthy controls(Group H).The samples were processed using 16S rRNA sequencing technology,followed by characterization of the microbiome community.Results:Group M significantly reduced salivary micro-bial diversity compared to group H.Furthermore,microbiota in Group M showed significant divergence and higher dysbiosis from group H and group P.Several pathogens,Haemophilus parainfluenzae,Neisseria perflava and Veillonella sp.oral taxon 158 were significantly reduced in group M.Notably,Haemophilus parainfluenzae,Neisseria perflava and Veillonella sp.oral taxon 158 exhibited strong negative correlations with bleeding index(BI)and fasting plasma glucose(FPG),whereas Porphy-romonas gingivalis showed significant positive correlations with probing depth(PD),BI,and clinical attachment loss(CAL),but negative correlation with blood glucose concentration.Conclusion:There is a significant difference in the microbiome structure in T2DM-periodontitis patients compared to health or periodontitis.The combined application of Haemophilus para-influenzae,Neisseria perflava and Veillonella sp.oral taxon 158 are of diagnostic value for patients with T2DM-periodontitis.关键词
