Abstract
The TSZ-3 strain controlled triaxial shear apparatus was applied to test the fly ash-lime improved loess with different water content and different compaction of Xi'an Metro Line 5 under different consolidation confining pressure conditions.The result shows that,the smaller the water content,the greater the confining pressure,the greater the strength of the improved loess;the greater the compaction,the higher the stress-strain curve,and the more apparent the effect of compaction on soil strength.With the intensification of compaction,the cohesion and internal friction angle increase linearly.With the increase of water content,the cohesion decreases nonlinearly by about 100 kPa,and the internal friction angle decreases within 5°.The stress-strain curve of fly ash-lime improved loess is dominated by softening type,showing brittle failure.The compaction and water content have great influence on the cohesion of the improved loess,but have little effect on the internal friction angle.关键词
