Challenges and Inspirations of the"One Health"Concept for Environmental Ethics
摘要
Abstract
In the context of globalization,the"One Health"concept has emerged with the aim of addressing complex health challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration and decentralized governance.It has now gained broad consensus within the international community and has seen initial development and nomenclature standardization in China.Traditional environmental ethics often confines itself to singular perspectives or centralized paradigms,whereas the"One Health"leverages Latour's"anti-Copernican revolution"to transcend conventional dualistic frameworks,proposing a more inclusive,dynamic,and pluralistic health governance model.This is specifically reflected in three transcendences of traditional environmental ethical thought:breaking through essentialism and replacing it with an ethical framework of pluralistic harmony and coexistence;dissolving the substance-relation duality through dialectical generativity;and rejecting reductionism and acknowledge the complexity and emergence of health.The"One Health"concept has initiated a profound paradigm shift,deepening its ontological implications by aiming to construct a symbiotic network centered on humans,animals,and the environment;it has expanded the epistemological scope by reflecting on past narrative logics,emphasizing future ethical responsibilities,and outlining a transformative blueprint for public and global health governance.关键词
