基于电光传感的直流线路故障电压行波测量方法
A method for measuring voltage traveling waves of DC transmission line faults based on electro-optic sensing

Abstract
Voltage traveling wave measurement is a key technology in fault location systems for DC transmission lines.Existing voltage traveling wave measurement methods based on coupling capacitors suffer from insufficient measurement bandwidth,which may cause refusal-to-operate issues in fault location.This paper proposes a new method for measuring voltage traveling waves caused by short-circuit faults in DC transmission lines using electro-optic crystals.The method measures the electric field beneath the transmission line via electro-optic crystals and reconstructs the corresponding voltage traveling waves,enabling accurate broadband measurement of fault traveling waves.Furthermore,a voltage traveling wave sensing system based on electro-optic crystals is designed and implemented,with an electric field mea-surement range from 0.2 kV/m to 70 kV/m and a frequency bandwidth from 50 Hz to 10 MHz.Experimental validation of the proposed system demonstrates its capability to accurately measure voltage traveling waves caused by short-circuit faults in DC transmission lines.The results provide a theoretical foundation for the development of electro-optic crystal-based fault voltage traveling wave measurement systems.关键词
