摘要

Abstract

Owing to the risk of tube twist in the tube-forming section of a tubular belt conveyor,inducing abnormal belt and idler wear as well as material spillage,an ultrasonic-sensor-based twisted-tube detection device was developed and coupled with an automatic tracking scheme driven by electric actuators.Theoretical analysis,system design,and experimental validation confirm that the proposed system detects the twist position in real time and performs automatic correction,thereby eliminating tube twist in the tube-forming section of tubular belt conveyor and enhancing both reliability and operational efficiency.
