Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the biological activity of split yeast black peony fermentation broth and its potential application value in cosmetics.The efficacy and safety of fermentation broth were comprehensively evaluated by cytotoxicity test,anti-inflammatory test(detection of inflammatory marker IL-1α),antioxidant test(DPPH clearance test),anti-aging test(detection of MMP-1 expression and type IV and type VII collagen production),skin repair test(observation of the mobility rate of damaged cells)and skin irritation test.The results showed that the fermentation broth was non-cytotoxic,and they significantly reduced the level of IL-1α(P<0.05)and showed a good anti-inflammatory effect.The DPPH scavenging assay showed that it had significant antioxidant capacity(P<0.05).The fermentation broth could reduce the expression of MMP-1 induced by UVB,promote the production of type IV and type VII collagen in keratinocytes(P<0.05),and exhibited anti-aging properties.The migration rate of damaged cells increased significantly(P<0.05),which proved that it had skin repair ability.In addition,the fermentation broth is safe and non-irritating in skin irritation tests.The fermentation broth has anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-aging,and skin repairing abilities,and is highly safe with good biological activity.关键词
