哈尼梯田水源区两种典型林分蒸腾耗水特性差异
Differences in transpiration water consumption characteristics of two typical forest stands in the Hani Rice Terraces water source area

Abstract
The water consumption of forest stands in the water source region of the Hani Rice Terraces(HRT)significantly impacts water production and downstream terrace water supply,making it crucial for sustainability.This study used Granier thermal diffusion probes(TDP)to monitor trunk sap flow in dominant tree species within the primary evergreen broad-leaved forest and secondary deciduous broad-leaved forest of the HRT source area,comparing their transpiration water consumption characteristics.Results showed that the relationship between peak sap flow and diameter at breast height(DBH)varied among species:exponential for Alnus cremastogyne and Camellia pitardii,linear for Cinnamomum glanduliferum and Cinnamomum bodinieri,and non-significant for Camptotheca acuminata and Castanopsis hystrix.Fitting parameters for the same tree species also varied seasonally,influenced by weather and other factors.Annual transpiration was 604.08 mm for the deciduous broad-leaved forest and 290.55 mm for the evergreen broad-leaved forest,indicating the deciduous forest's transpiration volume was approximately twice that of the evergreen forest.Transpiration during the growing season was nearly ten times higher than during the non-growing season for both stands.Summer and autumn were the primary seasons of water surplus for both forest types.The evergreen broad-leaved forest demonstrated higher annual water production compared to the deciduous forest,which exhibited more significant water loss during the dry season.Water source areas should prioritize protecting native evergreen broad-leaved forests,controlling the extent of secondary broad-leaved forests,and cultivating water-conserving tree species.These findings provide important guidance for selecting afforestation tree species and configuring forest stand structures in the HRT source area.关键词
