Selection of Evaluation Method of Academic Journal—From the Perspectives of Reliability,Discrimination and Goodness of Fit

Abstract
In the evaluation of academic journals,the multi-attribute evaluation methods are numerous,which leads to incon-sistent evaluation results,and this is a fundamental issue faced by journal evaluation.This paper proposes the idea of screening multi-attribute evaluation methods based on reliability,discrimination,and goodness-of-fit comprehensively.Based on the JCR2020 mathematics journals,five methods including linear weighted aggregation,TOPSIS,VIKOR,principal component analy-sis,and harmonic mean are selected for evaluation.Finally,the VIKOR evaluation method is screened out for evaluation.The re-search results indicate that although the evaluation results of the five multi-attribute evaluation methods all have passed the Kend-all ranking consistency test and the correlation coefficient of the evaluation values is relatively high,the ranking differences of the evaluation results from different methods are still significant.The screening evaluation method through reliability,discrimination and goodness-of-fit can effectively solve this problem,thereby enhancing the credibility of the evaluation.关键词
