Optimization and Application of Turnout Indication Rod Based on Swing-Limit Mechanism

Abstract
The switch rail of the turnout expands and contracts with the temperature changes,resulting in displacement relative to the stock rail.The existing flexible joint of indication rod has a large axial displacement under the switch rail expansion and contraction of the turnout,which may cause indication failures under complex conditions,such as notch jamming and indication deviation.To address this issue,this paper proposes the innovative design of a swing-limit mechanism that can be applied to the turnout indication rod equipment,and verifies its structural feasibility through theoretical analysis and field testing.The proposed mechanism can substantially reduce the axial movement of the indication rod caused by the excessive expansion and contraction of the switch rail,and the risks of indication failures,thereby reducing the workload of seasonable on-site adjustment.关键词
