On Marx's Transcendence of Bruno Bauer's Self-Consciousness Religious Criticism

Abstract
The transcendence of Bruno Bauer's Self-Consciousness Religious Criticism is a key point in the development of Marx's early thought.Bauer,inheriting Hegel's religious philosophy,regarded traditional religion as the product of the development of self-consciousness,and further proposed the demand to break free from all religious constraints,allowing people to return to their intrinsic quality and achieve political liberation.Marx,however,pointed out that Bauer's view was abstract and the solution of political liberation was narrow and limited.The crucial issue was whether human beings themselves were liberated,that means human liberation.In On the Jewish Question,Marx engaged in a series of debates with Bauer,which was a prelude to his later principled criticism of the Young Hegelians.This article,centering on the classic text On the Jewish Question,systematically examines three aspects:(1)The Origin and Background of the Jewish Question:A Historical Perspective,(2)Bruno Bauer's Solution:Religious Criticism of Self-Consciousness,and(3)The Jewish Spirit and Human Liberation:Marx's Criticism and Transcendence.It makes a detailed comparison of the different positions,viewpoints,and methods of Marx and Bauer on the Jewish Question,and clarifies the aspects where the former transcended and broke through the latter.关键词
