The Comprehensive Education Paradigm in the Era of Digital Civilization

Abstract
With the rapid advance of artificial intelligence,big data,and cloud computing,human society is transitioning from industrial civilization to a digital civilization characterized by digital productivity.In this context,a comprehensive education paradigm has emerged as an expression of educational self-awareness shaped by the reconstruction of technological infrastructures,the reconfig-uration of social operating logics,and a renewed emphasis on human agency.This study articulates the comprehensive education paradigm for the era of digital civilization within a"technology-society-whole person"framework.Specifically,the technological di-mension provides the foundational support and enabling mechanisms for the digitalization of education;the social dimension concerns the deep coupling and co-evolution of educational systems with social structures;and the whole-person dimension indicates the value of education upon holistic human development and the realization of life's meaning.Implementing this paradigm involves(a)uphold-ing the humantistic values of education,which is the"soul"of digitalizaiton;(b)leveraging intelligent technologies and promoting hu-man-AI collaboration to reconstruct the educational ecosystem;(c)advancing collaborative co-governance by institutional safeguards and multi-stakeholder participation;and(d)fostering a global vision and civilizational dialogue through international exchange to build a shared understanding of education.关键词
