Abstract

The Masteel Manufacturing Execution System(MES),as the core production man-agement platform post Baowu Group integration,has strengthened process compliance and manage-ment standardization.However,in actual operation,a contradiction exists between the rigid plan-ning mechanism and dynamic production demands.Taking the direct hot charge rolling(DHCR)process in the steel rolling mill as an example,the deviation between the pre-planned furnace charg-ing sequence and the actual slab output sequence led to a decrease in the hot charging rate and an in-crease in energy consumption.To address this contradiction,a four-level optimization and modifica-tion scheme of"pre-planning+dynamic contract tracking+manual review+closed-loop informa-tion feedback"was proposed.The implementation of this optimization achieved the goals of increas-ing the hot charging rate and saving energy consumption in the steel rolling mill.
