摘要

Abstract

Currently,the predominant type of refining slag used in LF furnaces is pre-melted,which suffers from issues such as high cost and significant carbon emissions..The feasibility of replacing pre-melted refining slag with sintered refining slag was studied through industrial tri-als,comparing key indicators such as slag melting effect,slag forming speed,electrode heating time,submerged arc effect,and desulfurization rate.The results show that the metallurgical indica-tors of sintered refining slag are similar to those of pre-melted slag,but the cost is reduced by about 40%,offering significant economic and environmental advantages.
