摘要

Abstract

This study explored the active ingredients and protective mechanisms of ginseng against radiation damage using network pharmacology and molecular docking techniques.Through TCMSP,22 active ingredients of ginseng and their corresponding targets were screened out.Combined with radiation damage targets from databases such as GeneCards,51 common key targets were obtained.Cytoscape was used to construct a regulatory network,and the String database was used to build a PPI network.According to the degree value,4 key active ingredients were screened out,including protein kinase B1,Caspase-3,interleukin-1β,and prostaglandin synthase 2.Enrichment analysis via R software showed that the active ingredients of ginseng are mainly involved in signaling pathways such as tumor necrosis factor,IL-17,MAPK,and apoptosis.Molecular docking indicated that the 4 active ingredients have strong binding ability to the target proteins.The study preliminarily showed that ginseng may exert anti-radiation damage effects through kaempferol,inermin,beta-sitosterol,and stigmasterol by regulating the aforementioned pathways as well as signaling pathways such as Toll-like receptors and PI3K/Akt.
