Comprehensive utilization of Fuling(Poria)as a dual-use resource in food and medicine in the comprehensive health industry:a review
摘要
Abstract
Fuling(Poria),as a resource for both food and medicine,has the effects of promoting urination and draining dampness,strengthening the spleen,and calming the heart.Its significance in Chinese medicine(CM)clinical practice is renowned by the saying"Nine out of ten formulas contain Fuling(Poria)."It exhibits extensive applications in CM clinical practice and medicinal dietary therapy,demonstrating tremendous value for application and development in the comprehensive health industry.This paper summarizes the main pharmacological activities of Fuling(Poria)and its application and development progress from four aspects:Chinese medicated diet,health food,daily chemical products,and animal feed,in order to provide references for the development of Fuling(Poria)-based health products and the high-value comprehensive utilization of its resources.关键词
