Medicinal liquors with Huangjing(Polygonati Rhizoma)as the principal medicine:from textual research to modern studies
摘要
Abstract
This article systematically investigates the historical evolution,effects,indications,and clinical applications of medicinal liquors with Huangjing(Polygonati Rhizoma)as the principal medicine,drawing from medical texts across various dynasties.A total of three types of medicinal liquors featuring Huangjing(Polygonati Rhizoma)as the principal medicine were recorded in ancient medical literature:"Liaobaiji Yanshou Liquor","Wujing Liquor",and"Huangjing Liquor."All of them were prepared using a traditional brewing method involving decoction of Huangjing(Polygonati Rhizoma)and other herbs to extract the liquid,followed by fermentation with distiller's yeast.These medicinal liquors are effective in nourishing qi and blood and promoting longevity.A comprehensive review of literature on Huangjing(Polygonati Rhizoma)-based medicinal liquors reveals a marked difference between their traditional preparation methods and contemporary approaches,which provides new insights into the inheritance,innovation,and scientific research of Huangjing(Polygonati Rhizoma)-based medicinal liquors.关键词
