Abstract
Liuwei Dihuang Pill is a classic formula in Chinese medicine whose theoretical origins can be traced back to XUE Ji's Zheng Ti Lei Yao(Categorized Synopsis of the Whole)and was first recorded in QIAN Yi's Xiao'er Yao Zheng Zhi Jue(Key to Diagnosis and Treatment of Children's Diseases)during the Song Dynasty.Its formula structure is derived from Shenqi Pill documented in ZHANG Zhongjing's Jin Gui Yao Lue(Essentials from the Golden Cabinet).Originally designed specifically for treating pediatric kidney yin deficiency pattern,this formula gradually evolved through the development and refinement by successive generations of physicians to become the fundamental formula for nourishing kidney yin.The constituent herbs of this formula can be applied in the field of health food therapy,and the complete formula can also be incorporated into dietary regimens to exert its nourishing and health-maintaining effects.关键词
