Exploring the clinical application of Shanyao(Dioscoreae Rhizoma)in the prevention and treatment of childhood simple obesity based on the concept of"preventing a disease before it arises"
摘要
Abstract
The concept of"preventing a disease before it arises",as the essence of Chinese preventive medicine,emphasizes health protection throughout the entire life cycle.Shanyao(Dioscorea Opposita),a representative herb of medicine and food homology,is characterized by its moderate tonifying effect on the spleen and stomach without causing dryness or greasiness.This makes it well-suited to the constitution of children,who are prone to"spleen deficiency"and have"delicate zang-fu organs",and are susceptible to dietary injuries.Moreover,modern pharmacological studies have shown that Shanyao(Dioscoreae Rhizoma)can help prevent obesity by regulating the gut microbiota,improving insulin sensitivity,and inhibiting excessive appetite.Therefore,applying Shanyao(Dioscoreae Rhizoma)in the prevention and treatment of childhood simple obesity based on the concept of"preventing a disease before it arises"has important theoretical and practical significance,and is expected to play a greater role in the field of child health.关键词
