Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of intravenous immunoglobulin combined with glucocorticoids in treating primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)in children.Methods Medical records of 82 children with ITP admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from September 2022 to December 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.According to treatment regimens,patients were assigned to two groups,41 cases each.The control group received oral prednisone acetate tablets.The study group received intravenous human immunoglobulin(IVIg)in addition to the control regimen.Efficacy was evaluated at 4 weeks.Differences between groups were compared for dynamic changes in platelet counts,incidence of adverse reactions,immune indices,and inflammatory indices.Results The treatment effective rate was higher in the study group than in the control group(P＜0.05).At 24 h and 48 h after treatment initiation,early platelet response rates were higher in the study group than in the control group(P＜0.05).During treatment,the peak platelet count was higher in the study group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in the study group than in the control group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks,serum immunoglobulin G(IgG)was higher in the study group than in the control group,while interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were lower(P＜0.05).Conclusion IVIg combined with glucocorticoids for pediatric ITP improves clinical efficacy,optimizes platelet kinetics and immune and inflammatory indices,and reduces adverse reactions,indicating clinical value.关键词
