Advances in the Structure and Functions of PRRSV nsp4 Protein
摘要
Abstract
At least 14 nonstructural proteins(nsp)might be encoded by the genome of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV),especially nsp4 protein that is with the activity of 3C-like serine protease(3CLSP)and plays a critical role in viral replication,inhibition of host innate immune responses and induction of host cell apoptosis.Here,the latest advances in the nsp4 protein were systematically reviewed,with a priority on its structural characteristics and recent findings in areas such as inhibiting host innate immunity and promoting viral replication,aiming to provide innovative insights for the prevention and control of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS),as well as theoretical references for future development of novel vaccines and therapeutic drugs.关键词
