Research on the Impact of Talent Development Environment on the Innovation Performance of Sci-Tech Talents in Western China:A Qualitative Comparative Analysis Based on Resume Information

Abstract
The talent development environment is the direct arena for the innovative activities of sci-tech talents and is closely linked to their innovation performance.Based on the analysis of resume data of sci-tech talents in western China,this study reveals the key environmental factors driving their innovation performance.The findings indicate that:No single condition constitutes a necessary factor for enhancing the innovation performance of sci-tech talents in western China;There exist four types of talent development environments that boost innovation performance,which can be categorized into two groups based on overseas experience:"strong funding-scale model with overseas experience"and"multi-driven model without overseas experience";Comparative analysis shows that funding scale plays a more universally central role in improving innovation performance of sci-tech talents in western China;Significant differences exist in the growth paths between talents cultivated overseas and those trained domestically;Further analysis reveals an inverted U-shaped nonlinear relationship between team size and innovation performance of sci-tech talents in western China,with optimal performance achieved when the team size reaches approximately 9.58 members.关键词
