Abstract
To evaluate the immune efficacy of the lapinized live attenuated classical swine fever(CSF)vaccine(C-strain vaccine)and the inactivated recombinant baculovirus vaccine expressing classical swine fever virus(CSFV)E2 protein(E2 vaccine),as well as the impact of maternally derived antibodies on the immunization effect in piglets,a total of 65 piglets aged 25-30 days were divided into six immunized groups(Groups A-F,10 piglets/group)and one unvaccinated control group(Group G,5 piglets).Group A received a single dose of the C-strain vaccine at 60 days of age(when maternal antibodies had waned).Groups B through F underwent two-dose immunization regimens:Group B received two doses of the C-strain vaccine;Group C received a mixture of the C-strain and self-made E2 vaccine(containing 30 μg E2 protein);Group D received the C-strain vaccine for the first dose and self-made E2 vaccine for the second dose;Group E was immunized twice with the self-made E2 vaccine(containing 30 μg E2 protein);Group F received a commercial E2 vaccine(containing 50 μg E2 protein).Group G received saline as a blank control.The results showed that Group A maintained 100%antibody positivity from day 42 to day 150 post-vaccination.Group B,vaccinated at 25-30 days of age,was affected by maternal antibody interference and reached a maximum antibody positivity rate of only 40%.Group C maintained a 50%antibody positivity rate at 122 days post-boost.Groups D and E maintained 100%positivity from 32 to 152 days post-boost and from 28 days post-prime to 152 days post-boost,respectively.Group F's antibody positivity declined to 66.67%at 152 days post-boost.All immunized groups had significantly better immune responses than the Control group,which remained seronegative throughout.The results indicate that maternally derived antibodies significantly impact vaccine efficacy,and combination immunization strategies yield superior outcomes.A single dose of the C-strain vaccine at 50-60 days of age is recommended when maternal antibodies are present.If initial immunization is required at 25-30 days of age,a prime-boost strategy with the C-strain followed by the E2 vaccine is recommended,providing protection for up to 180 days.The commercial E2 vaccine alone offers protection for up to 150 days.关键词
