摘要
Abstract
Objective This study explores the impact of combining improved intradermal suture technique with 2940 nm fractional erbium laser on scar prevention and cosmetic effects in maxillofacial trauma, aiming to provide an optimized approach for cosmetic repair of maxillofacial trauma. Methods A total of 120 patients with acute maxillofacial trauma admitted to our hospital between August 2023 and January 2025 were selected and randomly assigned using a random number table into an observation group(60 patients)and a control group(60 patients). The observation group received modified intradermal suturing combined with 2940 nm fractional erbium laser treatment, while the control group underwent traditional interrupted suturing.Outcomes including wound healing parameters(duration of edema, time to wound healing),scar prevention efficacy,Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS)scores, complication rates, and patient satisfaction with cosmetic results were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of edema in the observation group was 4.16±1.05 days, and wound healing time was 7.98±1.54 days, both significantly shorter than the 6.31±1.47 days and 9.35±2.17 days observed in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of scar prevention in the observation group was 96.67%,significantly higher than the 86.67%in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(χ ²=3.927,P=0.048).Six months after injury, the total score and scores of each dimension of the VSS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with the differences being statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(3.33%vs.15.00%),with a statistically significant difference(χ ²=4.904,P=0.027).Patient satisfaction with aesthetic outcomes was higher in the observation group(95.00%)compared to the control group(83.33%),and this difference was also statistically significant(χ ²=4.227,P=0.039).Conclusions The improved intradermal suture technique combined with 2940 nm lattice erbium laser can accelerate the healing of maxillofacial trauma, reduce scar formation, lower the risk of complications, and enhance cosmetic effects. It is a safe and effective maxillofacial trauma repair plan that is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
