基于CiteSpace和VOSviewer的多囊卵巢综合征动物模型研究现状可视化分析
Visual analysis of research status on animal models of polycystic ovary syndrome based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer

Abstract
Objective To analyze the current research status,hotspots,and development trends of animal models for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)using VOSviewer and CiteSpace visualization tools.Methods Literature related to PCOS animal models from January 1,1994,to January 1,2024,was retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection.VOSviewer 1.6.20 and CiteSpace 6.3.R1 were employed for visualizing analyses of countries,authors,and keywords.Results After screening,452 eligible articles were included.Annual publications showed a steady upward trend,with the United States(D=109),Univ Michigan(D=27),and Padmanabhan,Vasantha(D=22)being the most productive country,institution,and author,respectively.High-frequency keywords included polycystic ovary syndrome,insulin resistance,and oxidative stress.Conclusion The research in this field is basically in a stable and progressive trend,with frequent exchanges and cooperation among countries,and research institutions mainly composed of universities.The selection of model animals is focused on rats and female rhesus monkeys,and the modeling drugs used are mainly itraconazole and dihydrotestosterone.The research on the pathogenesis mainly involves inflammation,oxidative stress,and insulin resistance,among which oxidative stress and inflammation have great research prospects.关键词
