Current status of rehabilitation treatment for knee osteoarthritis

Abstract
Knee osteoarthritis(KOA)is a common adult chronic arthritis disease characterized by degenerative changes in knee cartilage and subchondral bone hyperplasia.This disease is more common in middle-aged and elderly people,and its clinical symptoms are mostly manifested as knee joint pain,swelling and pain,discomfort when going up and down stairs,initial pain,initial stiffness,and in severe cases,limited joint movement and joint deformities.In recent years,with the increasing aging of the national population,the incidence of KOA has been rising year by year,and clinical rehabilitation treatment is facing enormous pressure.At the same time,this has also brought severe challenges to the physical health of the human body and the improvement of the quality of life of the public.With the continuous development of medical technology and rehabilitation medicine,the rehabilitation treatment methods of KOA are gradually becoming more diversified,and the clinical rehabilitation efficacy is becoming increasingly significant.This article briefly summarizes the rehabilitation treatment methods of traditional Chinese and Western medicine related to KOA by reviewing relevant literature in recent years,in order to provide corresponding references for patients'rehabilitation treatment and clinical promotion and application.关键词
