郴州农村地区中老年2型糖尿病患者中医体质分布特点及影响因素分析
Analysis of TCM constitution distribution characteristics and influencing factors in middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in rural chenzhou

Abstract
Objective To investigate the distribution characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitutions and analyze risk factors for type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)among middle-aged and elderly populations in rural Chenzhou.Methods During the summer"Three trips to the countryside"volunteer program in July-August 2024,a TCM constitution identification robot was used to survey the TCM constitution types and basic demographic data of middle-aged and elderly residents in Xujiadong Town and Bailutang Town,Chenzhou.Results Among 499 surveyed participants,161(32.30%)were diagnosed with T2DM,including 139 cases with comorbid hypertension.The TCM constitution distribution of T2DM patients was as follows,balanced constitution(1,0.6%),qi deficiency(1,0.6%),qi stagnation(5,3.1%),dampness-heat(58,36.0%),special constitution(3,1.9%),phlegm-dampness(52,32.3%),blood stasis(2,1.2%),yang deficiency(27,16.8%),and yin deficiency(12,7.5%).Logistic regression analysis identified age(OR=1.101),dampness-heat constitution(OR=8.491),phlegm-dampness constitution(OR=9.961),yang deficiency constitution(OR=7.645),waist circumference(OR=1.047),and body mass index(OR=1.217)as significant risk factors for T2DM in this population.Conclusion The dampness-heat constitution was predominant among rural middle-aged and elderly T2DM patients in Chenzhou.Targeted attention should be given to advanced age,central obesity,and individuals with phlegm-dampness,dampness-heat,or yang deficiency constitutions.Lifestyle interventions to modify TCM constitution patterns may help prevent diabetes and alleviate public health burdens.关键词
