The Main Nutrient Occurrence Forms and Transport Characteristics of Biogas Slurry in the Typical Planting and Breeding Cycle "pig-biogas-fruit" Model

Abstract
This study focuses on the typical "pig-biogas-fruit" agricultural model in western Guangdong,aiming to investi-gate the nutrient content,occurrence forms,and transport characteristics of pig farm biogas slurry,thereby providing a sci-entific basis for the efficient utilization of biogas slurry nutrients.Biogas slurry samples from eight pig farms were collected to measure the concentrations of key nutrients,including nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P),and potassium(K).The nutri-ent distribution across particles of different sizes was analyzed using graded filtration.Additionally,the sedimentation char-acteristics of particles in the biogas slurry during storage and transport were examined to identify the critical factors affecting nutrient utilization.The results showed that the suspended particulate matter content in the biogas slurry from the eight pig farms ranged from 2347 to 8038 mg·L-1.The average proportions of particles in different size ranges(0.45~150 μm,150~250 μm,250~850 μm,>850 μm)were 34.2%,13.3%,44.7%,and 7.86%,respectively,with significant differences in the content and distribution of suspended particles among the farms.A substantial proportion of nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium nutrients was found in the particulate matter.For particles within the size ranges of 0.45~150μm,150~250 μm,250~850 μm,and>850 μm,the average proportions of nitrogen were 12.7%,14.0%,14.9%,and 11.5%,respectively;those of phosphorus were 35.3%,17.3%,21.1%,and 14.6%,respectively;and those of potassium were 19.5%,13.0%,13.3%,and 15.7%,respectively.Further analysis indicated that dissolved and partic-ulate nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium with particle sizes<150 μm constituted the main transportable nutrients in the biogas slurry,accounting for average proportions of 59.6%,46.5%,and 58.0%,respectively,across the eight farms.Therefore,to achieve efficient utilization of biogas slurry nutrients,further measures are required to promote the transforma-tion of the less transportable fraction into the easily transportable fraction.Meanwhile,application strategies for biogas slur-ry should be formulated based on the content of easily transportable nitrogen,phosphorus,and potassium to ensure nutrient use efficiency and reduce the risk of nutrient loss.关键词
