Abstract
This study systematically validated the effectiveness of biogas slurry as a substitute for chemical fertilizers in sta-ple food crops through large-scale field demonstrations.The application of biogas slurry was implemented across 51.9 hec-tares of farmland,resulting in significant yield increases compared to conventional practices.Sorghum achieved a yield of 7005 kg·hm-2,representing a 46.4%increase over the local average,while rice achieved a single-season yield of 10230 kg·hm-2,a 12.5%increase.Soil fertility substantially improved,with organic matter,total nitrogen,and available phos-phorus contents in sorghum fields rising to 25.69 g·kg-1,0.77 g·kg-1,and 21.81 mg·kg-1,respectively.In rice fields,these values reached 42.93 g·kg-1,2.95 g·kg-1,and 7.59 mg·kg-1.Environmental safety assessments confirmed that soil heavy metal concentrations after two years of biogas slurry application complied with China's National Standard(GB 15618-2018).Economically,substituting chemical fertilizers with biogas slurry reduced production costs per hectare,in-creased yields,and enhanced overall profitability.This study demonstrates the feasibility of biogas slurry as a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers in food crop systems,providing a practical model for agricultural waste recycling and con-tributing to green agriculture and soil quality enhancement.关键词
