Current Status of Application of Cerebral Cortex Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy in Cochlear Implant Patients

Abstract
Functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS),as a non-invasive,safe and portable neuroimaging technique,plays a pivotal role in investigating cerebral cortex activity in cochlear implant(CI)patients.This article systematically summarizes the advantages and limitations of fNIRS technology along with its extensive applications across various disciplines,particularly emphasizing its utilization in cross-modal reorganization studies of auditory cortex in CI patients.Furthermore,the summary comprehensively examines current research progress regarding fNIRS applications in evaluating linguistic cognitive abilities,elucidating speech development mechanisms,and predicting postoperative rehabilitation outcomes in CI patients.关键词
