Identification of the Caleosin Gene Family in Ricinus communis L.and Analysis of Expression under Alkali Stress

Abstract
Members of the castor Caleosin gene family were screened out using Ricinus communis pro-tein sequence files.Various properties of the gene family members and encoded proteins were predic-ted and analyzed by bioinformatics methods.The expression patterns of caleosin gene family members at different base concentrations of two Ricinus communis varieties with significant differences in alkali tolerance during the germination period were determined by real-time fluorescence quantitative reverse transcription PCR(RT-qPCR).Two members,RcCLO1 and RcCLO2,were identified in the Ricinus communis protein sequence files.They belonged to the H-Caleosin subfamily and the L-Caleosin sub-family respectively,and evolved from each of the two subfamilies.The evolution of RcCLO1 and RcCLO2 was highly conserved,and both were as the key functions and conserved motifs of caleosin.Both RcCLO1 and RcCLO2 could respond to alkali stress,and RcCLO1 could be the main alkali-re-sistant gene in the Ricinus comrnunis caleosin gene family.关键词
