摘要

Abstract

Hunan Minsheng Seed Industry Science Research Institute Co.,Ltd.and Hunan Xinglong Seed Industry Co.,Ltd.developed the disease-resistant,long-grain,high-quality restorer line R4832 by crossing Xianggui 3(long-grain,high-quality,carrying the bacterial blight resistance gene Xa21)with Yuehesimiao(carrying the blast resistance gene Pi2),followed by molecular marker-assisted selection and multi-generation pedigree breeding for trait stabilization.Subsequently,a group of disease-resistant and high-quality hybrid rice combinations were developed with R4832,exhibiting to bacterial blight and rice blast resistance,strong stress tolerance,slender grains,high grain quality,and high yield potential.The breeding of the restorer line R4832 provides essential germplasm support for developing the green,high-quality hybrid rice varieties.
