Research on Performance of Stirling-Type Pulse Tube Refrigerator with Precooling Structure

Abstract
In order to research the cooling power and temperature of a single-stage pulse tube cooler below 20 K,a Stirling-type pulse tube refrigerator with a precooling structure at the hot end of the regenerator is introduced in this paper.Numerical simulation methods are used to model and thermodynamically analyze the coaxial high-frequency pulse tube cooler of the hot-end precooling structure with Sage10 software.The effect of precooling temperature and precooling power on cold end temperature and cooling capacity of a pulse tube cooler with and without precooling temperature of 40-100 K is investigated by filling the regenerator with stainless steel wire mesh.The optimum sizes of the regenerator and pulse tubes are determined according to the principle of no-load temperature,and the precooling temperature is analyzed to improve the cooling performance.The results indicate that at a precooling temperature of 80 K,a single-stage pulse tube refrigerator can achieve a typical refrigeration capacity of 0.677 W when the cold end temperature reaches 14 K.关键词
