Abstract
Objective:To explore the application value of electroacupuncture combined with Chinese herbal fumigation in patients with ankle fractures.Method:A total of 94 patients with ankle fractures admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from August 2019 to August 2024 were selected as the research subjects.Using the random numerical table,all selected patients were assigned to two groups(47 cases each).The patients of control group were provided with conventional treatment,while the observation group was treated with electroacupuncture combined with Chinese herbal fumigation on the basis of the control group.The degrees of pain and swelling,fracture healing,ankle joint function,incidence of complications and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Result:Compared with the control group,the observation group had lower degree of pain and swelling,shorter fracture healing time,higher score of ankle joint function,greater ankle joint range of motion,fewer complications,and higher score of quality of life after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Electroacupuncture combined with Chinese herbal fumigation can alleviate postoperative pain and swelling in patients with ankle fractures,accelerate fracture healing,reduce complications,and promote the recovery of ankle joint function and the improvement of quality of life.关键词
